Himachal's Paddy Procurement Process Simplified for Farmers

The paddy procurement process in Una district of Himachal Pradesh is set to take place from October 3 to December 31, according to a statement by Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal.

Authorized markets for procurement include the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee of Rampur, Takarla Grain Market, and Tahliwal. An online registration is mandatory for participation, urging unregistered farmers to sign up at www.hpappp.nic.in promptly to avoid inconvenience.

Deputy Commissioner Lal announced the minimum support price for paddy is Rs 2,389 per quintal. Farmers will be credited directly into their bank accounts within 48 hours of procurement.
