Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema emphasized the state government's dedication to resolving the constitutional demands and issues raised by Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Backward Classes (BCs) employees and communities on Friday. He assured that the administration led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is actively engaged in addressing these concerns.
During a meeting with the Joint Action Committee, which includes representatives from 27 SC and BC organizations across Punjab, Cheema reiterated the government's commitment to social justice. The session at Punjab Bhawan extensively covered key issues related to government employees, social justice, and constitutional rights, with assurances that remaining matters will be urgently resolved.
The meeting was recognized as a pivotal step in maintaining open dialogue with stakeholders.
