This Vijayadashmi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav performed the Shastra Pooja at his residence in Bhopal, uniting tradition with prayers for public welfare. The ceremony occurred on Thursday, marking the auspicious festival of Dussehra.

Chief Minister Yadav extended his greetings to the people across the state and nation on this significant occasion. He urged everyone to embrace the festival's spirit by making a resolution to engage only in noble deeds. Highlighting its dual symbolism, Yadav reminded that Dussehra commemorates Lord Ram's 'Ram Rajya' and the triumph of Maa Jagdamba over Mahishasura.

The Shastra Pooja, a ritual steeped in tradition, venerates weapons as embodiments of livelihood and protection. Dussehra, a major Hindu festival, celebrates the victory of good over evil, echoing Lord Rama's conquest of Ravana. It inspires introspection and the cultivation of virtues, urging the defeat of inner vices like anger and jealousy.
