The 1055 Artillery Regiment of the BSF stationed in Jaisalmer celebrated Vijayadashmi with a traditional 'Shastra Pooja'. Weapons, revered almost as deities, were ceremoniously adorned and worshipped, sending a potent message of readiness and strength to adversaries across the Indo-Pak border.

Inspector General ML Garg of BSF Rajasthan Frontier remarked on the symbolic importance of this weapon worship, highlighting the force's substantial experience and proficiency in countering advanced threats like drone incursions. He lauded the effectiveness of anti-drone systems during Operation Sindoor and expressed confidence in the unit's preparedness for similar operations in the future.

Battalion officers made it clear that the BSF remains vigilant, ready to undertake operations as ordered by the Indian government. Their commitment to safeguarding the nation is underscored by this traditional ritual, emphasizing India's formidable firepower and the soldiers' unwavering dedication to their duty.
