Speaking to the press, the former Chief Minister argued that the ruling DMK government maintains unequal security practices at public gatherings, skewed in favor of ruling parties. 'The regime must ensure safety at all public functions,' he emphasized, underscoring the state's duty to protect its citizens during mass gatherings.
Palaniswami highlighted the discrepancy in police deployment, alleging preferential treatment for government-sponsored events compared to those organized by opposition parties.
