Uttarakhand's Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, celebrated Vijayadashami by extending his greetings to the state's people. He emphasized that Dussehra symbolizes more than a festival, serving as a guiding light in life. Dhami participated in the Dussehra festivities and the ceremonial burning of Ravana effigies organized in Dehradun.

The Chief Minister reflected on Dussehra as a lesson in the inevitable triumph of truth over falsehood and the dangers of power misuse. He praised Lord Ram's exemplary life as an inspiration for righteousness against challenges. Dhami highlighted the annual celebration's significance at Lakshman Chowk, pioneered by Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, commending its role in promoting cultural awareness.

Marking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's centenary, the Chief Minister praised its ideology's influence on national service. He lauded the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as a cultural pride symbol under PM Modi's leadership. Emphasizing cultural events' tourism potential, he affirmed state efforts toward expansive festival organization.

Dhami committed to combating social issues like land and love jihad, endorsing the anti-riot law for property confiscation from rioters. Highlighting a stringent anti-cheating law's implementation, he noted over 25,000 youths securing government jobs. Recently, in response to a cheating scandal, he assured youth of a CBI inquiry to address their concerns while criticizing opposition attempts to politicize the issue.

Asserting quality education is vital, Dhami announced plans to abolish the Madarsa Board, mandating curriculum alignment with state education standards by 2026. He stressed zero tolerance for corruption, citing decisive actions against over 200 officials and reiterating dedication to making Uttarakhand a lead state while embracing Lord Ram's virtues of truth and duty.
