At the Vijayadashami celebrations in Panchkula, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reiterated the festival's symbolism of good triumphing over evil, connecting it to the exemplary character of Lord Ram. Saini emphasized the need to embrace Ram's ideals of truth, honesty, compassion, and equality in contemporary society.

During the Ravan Dahan ceremony, the Chief Minister extended greetings to the state's citizens, advocating for the festival's message of love, brotherhood, and spiritual progress. He announced an Rs 11 lakh donation to the Mata Mansa Devi Charitable Trust, reflecting his commitment to community development.

Saini also noted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to actualize the vision of Ram Rajya, a governance model embodying Lord Ram's values. Artists were honoured during the event, celebrating their contribution to cultural preservation.
