Tata Capital Ltd is poised to make waves in the financial sector with the launch of its IPO next week, focusing on green financing and digital innovation. The initiative is bolstered by the impending merger of its subsidiary, Tata Cleantech Capital, in 2024.

By the fiscal year 2025, Tata's cleantech and infrastructure finance portfolio reached an impressive Rs 18,000 crore, growing at a robust 31.8 percent CAGR over two years, the company announced on Friday. The cleantech portfolio has supported over 500 renewable projects, contributing more than 22,400 MW across solar, wind, biomass, and small hydro sectors.

With India's ambitious 2070 net-zero target, Tata Capital believes it can play a pivotal role in the nation's energy transition, presenting a compelling investment case. The IPO opens on October 6, with a price range of Rs 310 to Rs 326 per share, aiming to raise over Rs 15,500 crore.
