A man has been accused of spreading hate speech against Dr B R Ambedkar, an iconic figure in Indian history. The charges, filed at Rasra Kotwali police station, allege that Mintu Singh Sengar disseminated offensive remarks and casteist slurs in a social media video.

The complaint came from residents of Dehri village, who registered their concerns with the police. They claim that Sengar's inflammatory statements were part of a video released on April 14, coinciding with Ambedkar Jayanti, a day commemorating Dr Ambedkar's legacy.

Authorities, including Deputy Superintendent of Police Alok Gupta, have initiated a search to apprehend Sengar. Local police have emphasized their commitment to addressing such offenses under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
