In a significant development for regional energy transport, Hungary's oil group MOL announced it has received notification from Ukrtransnafta, the Ukrainian operator of the Druzhba pipeline, that crude oil shipments from Belarus have resumed.
The resumption of the oil flow was confirmed to have begun at noon on Wednesday. This marks a restart of the Ukrainian section of the pipeline system, which plays a crucial role in supplying oil to the region.
MOL is optimistic about the renewed operations and reported that crude oil shipments are expected to reach Hungary and Slovakia by Thursday at the latest, ensuring a steady supply for the energy sector.
