BJP Intensifies Stand Against 'TMC Goons' in West Bengal Election Campaign

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, amidst the heated political climate preceding the second phase of West Bengal Elections, vowed to eliminate 'goons' from the state should the BJP-led NDA assume power. Singh, during a roadshow in Hooghly, asserted the party's forthcoming efforts to fortify law and order and enhance public welfare.

In alignment with the BJP's relentless campaign against alleged 'TMC goons,' Singh emphasized initiatives for farmers, youth employment, and infrastructure improvement. He cautioned that criminal elements would face harsh consequences, either imprisonment or worse, to restore security in the region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a rally at Bishnupur, echoed this hardline stance, extending a 'final warning' to TMC affiliates to surrender before the impending elections. Complementing this, Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the current administration's failure to curb infiltration and pledged to fortify state borders if elected.
