Shiv Sena (UBT) Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut has expressed strong disapproval following remarks made by spiritual leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, known as Bageshwar Baba, about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Raut has questioned the lack of response from senior political leaders who attended the event where Shastri made his controversial statements.
Raut criticized the political figures present, including the Chief Minister, for not reacting to the alleged historical inaccuracies delivered by Shastri. He emphasized the critical importance of historical awareness, stating, "The history of Maharashtra and Shivaji Maharaj is vital for understanding our identity as Hindus today."
