Rajasthan Unveils a Grand Showcase at the 15th Great Indian Travel Bazaar

In a significant move to bolster tourism, Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, inaugurated the 15th Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) in Jaipur. Emphasizing Rajasthan's allure, she remarked that the state offers everything a tourist could desire. During her visit on Sunday, Kumari received updates on ongoing business meetings between key stakeholders in the tourism sector.
Jointly organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), this event has attracted an impressive 185 tour operators. Speaking to reporters, Kumari underscored the event's success, noting an increase in international participation.
Chief Secretary V Srinivas expressed optimism about the event's outcomes, noting that thousands of business interactions were scheduled over the coming days. He credited the support from India's Tourism Ministry and various associations like HRAR, IHHA, and RATO, for potentially ensuring the event's success. The GITB aims to enhance inbound tourism by providing a platform for showcasing India's tourism potential to the world.
