Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar on Monday made bold claims against the Trinamool Congress, anticipating an end to what he termed a 'reign of terror' as West Bengal's elections approach. With campaigning reaching its final day, Kumar highlighted the significant voter turnout, especially among women, as a harbinger of change.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party Bihar President Sanjay Saraogi expressed optimism about BJP's prospects, citing widespread discontent with TMC. He noted the remarkable voter turnout as a reflection of the people's longing for change under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Countering this narrative, Trinamool Congress State General Secretary Tanmay Ghosh predicted TMC's victory, asserting external political influences would dissipate post-elections. Emphasizing strong local support, Ghosh confidently forecasted TMC securing a considerable majority in the assembly.
