In a sharp critique of the Congress party, BJP leader CR Kesavan has accused it of harboring an 'anti-India mindset', asserting that recent remarks by Congress leaders reveal a dangerous level of animosity toward the nation.
Kesavan's statements came in response to Maharashtra Congress MLA Vijay Wadettiwar's comments, which linked a gun incident at the White House Correspondents' Dinner to dissatisfaction with US President Donald Trump and drew a parallel to sentiments against India's central government.
Addressing the media in Chennai, Kesavan condemned Wadettiwar's remarks, describing them as inflammatory and a reflection of the Congress's longstanding bias against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he claims has now escalated into a general disdain for the country.
