Long-Lost Reunion: A Mother's Return After Two Decades

A woman missing for two decades is on the verge of reuniting with her family in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, according to local officials. Kabali Devi, now 58, disappeared from her home around 20 years ago. Her husband, Raju Murmu, once presumed her lost forever and remarried after losing hope.

Kabali, originally from Kashitand Tola in Daldali village, was located at Asha Bhavan in Kozhikode, Kerala. Preparations are underway for her anticipated reunion, with her son expressing a strong desire to bring his mother back home. Purvi Tundi police station's circle officer, Suresh Prasad Barnwal, emphasized that the local authorities are committed to assisting this family during the emotional transition.

While Raju Murmu has expressed an inability to reconcile with his first wife due to the established family with his second wife, their son Samir Murmu is ready to welcome her back. Despite the complexities, the groundwork is in place to ensure Kabali Devi's return.
