UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Thani Al Zeyoudi, reported that non-oil trade figures between the Emirates and Syria reached $1.4 billion, a substantial increase from the previous year. This economic surge signals potential for further growth in bilateral trade relations.
Amidst evolving political landscapes, the forum fostered dialogue on several investment projects, most notably in tourism, construction, and agriculture. The two-day meeting highlighted the UAE's broader regional strategy, underscored by high-level attendance, including Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
