In a significant development, the Operations Cell of the Chandigarh Police has successfully apprehended four primary suspects involved in the high-profile Panjab University shooting and robbery case. This operation has also led to resolutions in several other criminal cases connected to international gangster networks active in both Punjab and Chandigarh.

The arrested individuals, identified as Gaurav alias Gola, Rajat alias Gudda, Ravi Nijjar alias Kali, and Aryan, were reportedly closely associated with notorious gangsters Shaganpreet Singh and Doni Bal, who operate from abroad. Their arrest followed a meticulously planned operation, directed by senior police officials and executed by the Operations Wing led by Inspectors Harinder Singh Sekhon and Satvinder Singh.

Authorities disclosed that during this operation, three advanced automatic pistols and sixteen live cartridges were seized from the suspects. These arrests not only implicate the accused in the Panjab University incident but also in two high-profile murder cases in Punjab, further unraveling the criminal activities orchestrated by the Shaganpreet-Doni Bal gang.
