The state of Tripura is embarking on an ambitious infrastructure project aimed at alleviating the impacts of river erosion and flooding. Chief Minister Manik Saha declared that 42 dams have already been constructed, with an additional 193 flood control projects set to launch across the state.
This announcement was made during the inauguration of the State Data Centre in Agartala, a venture by the Water Resources Department to harness technology for improved water management. Saha avowed that the integration of advanced technology is central to the state's strategy for progressive development and governance.
