In preparation for the Kharif 2026 season, Andhra Pradesh's Agriculture Minister K Atchannaidu assured farmers on Monday that comprehensive strategies are in place to mitigate potential El Niño impacts.
Atchannaidu, who convened a review meeting with senior Agriculture Department officials, emphasized the importance of stringent measures in seed and fertilizer management across the state. Plans include the implementation of a special card system for transparent urea distribution and the promotion of balanced fertilization practices.
