Torrential rain in central China's Hunan Province on Tuesday killed at least four persons, forcing residents to relocate, authorities said.

A total of 61,583 people in Shimen County have been affected by the latest round of rainfall, while 19,040 residents have been relocated to safety, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Four people were killed, and one remains missing after torrential rains hit central China, local authorities said.

Meanwhile, in Saturday's pickup truck accident, all 10 missing people have been confirmed dead.

The pickup truck plunged into a river in Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
