On Wednesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed grave concerns over alleged irregularities in the evaluation process of CBSE exams, posing tough questions to both the government and the Central Board of Secondary Education. Through a post on X, Gandhi criticized the lack of responses to crucial questions, stating that a mere denial is insufficient to address the concerns about the evaluation system.
Gandhi further challenged the authorities, demanding answers from the Education Minister and CBSE for overlooking his queries. He emphasized the potential jeopardy of 18.5 lakh students' futures due to these alleged discrepancies, insisting that they deserve transparency and truth regarding their academic evaluations.
Adding weight to his concerns, Gandhi accused the government of a 'deliberate conspiracy' involving CBSE exam results, calling for an independent judicial probe and SIT investigation. Citing previous controversial links of the company COEMPT, which is tied to the evaluation process, he questioned the awarding of such critical contracts, accusing the government of negligence and lack of accountability.
