In a significant move towards streamlining welfare distribution, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to launch a Unified Card system. This innovative card will consolidate all welfare benefits and government interactions into a single, accessible entity.
The Chief Minister emphasized the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in this initiative, aiming to eliminate redundancy and reduce bureaucratic delays in delivering benefits. The plan involves a special data collection drive to enable efficient tracking of beneficiary information using AI-based profiling systems.
This comprehensive approach seeks not only to integrate various welfare schemes like AarogyaSri and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund but also to ensure a centralized view on state-level skilling, training initiatives, and facilitating the issuance of key documents like passports and visas, mitigating unauthorized involvement in the migration ecosystem.
