RLP Leader Criticized for Remarks Against Rajasthan's Chief Minister

The Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan has strongly denounced remarks made by Hanuman Beniwal, chief of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party. During a late-night protest against land acquisition for industrial use near Jaipur, Beniwal referred to the state's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma as 'murkhadhiraj,' or 'the leader of fools.'

Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore criticized the language used, calling it indecent and a violation of democratic traditions. He expressed concern that some politicians resort to sensational language to capture media attention. Rathore emphasized the need for dignity and respect in political commentary to maintain public trust.

Other BJP leaders echoed Rathore's sentiments, asserting that political discussions should focus on issues and facts rather than personal insults. Arun Chaturvedi, chair of the state's finance commission, said such abusive language is detrimental to democratic values, while former BJP president Ashok Parnami called for dignity in political dialogue.
