In a landmark announcement on World Clubfoot Day, the Adani Foundation has joined forces with the Anushkaa Foundation in an effort to combat clubfoot among children across five Indian states. This three-year initiative aims to reach more than 10,000 children and will focus on expanding treatment access and bolstering public health systems.

The collaboration was officially inaugurated at the Manyavar Kanshiram Samyukth Chikitsalay and Trauma Centre in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh—a state grappling with one of India's highest clubfoot burdens, with approximately 6,000 affected births annually. By employing the globally recognized Ponseti method, this partnership strives to correct this debilitating condition in underserved communities.

The program will integrate community outreach and clinical care, supported by the National Health Mission, to enhance early detection and ensure timely treatment via the public healthcare network. Over the course of the partnership, 67 clinics across 61 districts will be involved, along with the training and sensitization of over 30,000 health workers to aid in early diagnosis and referral.
