Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has announced a landmark restructuring initiative set to redefine its presence in the Indian healthcare sector. The board has sanctioned the separate listing of its omnichannel pharmacy and digital health sectors within the next 18-21 months. This move is expected to unlock significant value.
The ambitious scheme involves demerging the Omnichannel Pharma and Digital Health businesses into a new entity, followed by an amalgamation with Apollo HealthCo subsidiary. Keimed Pvt Ltd, a major pharmaceutical distributor, will also merge with the newly-formed company, creating a formidable entity.
Projected to achieve Rs 25,000 crore revenue by the fiscal year 2027, the move will further expand Apollo's reach across 19,000 pin codes, serving over 100 million Indians. Apollo Hospitals anticipates this development will bolster its position, enhancing access to high-quality healthcare nationwide.
