A 37-year-old woman named Ravita Sinha tragically ended her life by jumping in front of a moving train in the Pataudi area of Gurugram district on Monday, authorities report.
According to the Government Railway Police, Ravita had been experiencing mental health difficulties and was receiving treatment at a local civil hospital. Hailing from Vaishali district in Bihar, she resided in Dhanawas village with her husband, who is employed by a private company.
Employed at a beauty parlour, Ravita reportedly jumped in front of the Ranikhet Express early Monday morning. Law enforcement officials, led by ASI Rajesh Kumar, have stated that her family mentioned her mental health struggles, and a thorough investigation is underway. The body was returned to her family after an autopsy.
