A private company's MD piloted a helicopter to airlift a policeman suffering a heart attack from a remote district to Nagpur, saving his life. The incident on August 2 involved swift coordination between the police department and the company, ensuring timely medical intervention for the patient.

A daring rescue operation unfolded in Gadchiroli district when B. Prabhakaran, the Managing Director of Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited, piloted a helicopter to airlift a policeman who suffered a heart attack. The incident, occurring on August 2, highlights a remarkable collaboration between the police force and the private sector.
Police Naik Rahul Sahebrao Gaikwad, serving at the Hedri police station, sought urgent medical attention after experiencing chest pains. Upon diagnosis of a heart attack, the hospital recommended immediate transfer to a specialized cardiac center. In a swift response, the police department coordinated with LMEL to secure a helicopter evacuation.
Prabhakaran, who happened to be conducting a routine inspection nearby, promptly arranged for the helicopter. The aircraft took off from Hedri armed outpost helipad, with medical staff ensuring Gaikwad's safe transport to Nagpur.
