An Afghan national selling blankets in Nagpur was critically injured in an assault by three men after being labeled a "terrorist" during an argument, police said.

The incident unfolded in Yadav Nagar under Yashodhara Nagar police station on Sunday night, involving Ajay Chavan and his associates Rishi and Mayank, according to officials.

Victim Faheem Khan, also known as Mamtoor Margak, had previous financial dealings with Chavan. In the altercation, Faheem was struck with a cement block and is currently in critical condition. Police have registered a case and are actively searching for the assailants as investigations continue.
