Ayurveda, the ancient holistic healthcare system, is being heralded as a global solution for sustainable health by Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav. He emphasized its significance in harmonizing individual well-being with environmental sustainability during the 10th Ayurveda Day celebrations at the All India Institute of Ayurveda in Goa.

According to the minister, Ayurveda's recognition and extensive practice across India, as noted in the first all-India NSSO survey on Ayush, marks it as the most popular traditional treatment method. The theme for the celebration, 'Ayurveda for People and Planet,' underscores India's dedication to positioning Ayurveda at the forefront of global health and ecological well-being.

Highlighting future initiatives, Jadhav introduced campaigns like 'Little Steps to Wellness' for students and 'Lead the Mislead' to tackle misinformation. With investments surging to Rs 12,850 crore, the Ministry of Ayush is bolstering initiatives like digital integration and inter-ministerial collaborations to elevate Ayurveda's global standing.
