Empowering Women: Delhi's Health Initiative Takes Center Stage

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the importance of women's health as a cornerstone for family and national well-being during her visit to the 'Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar' health camp at AIIMS, New Delhi. The initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of free health services for millions of women across India.

The camp, held from September 17 to October 2, operates under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and offers services ranging from cancer screenings to dental check-ups, all designed to empower women by improving health outcomes. The program encourages women participation, extending services to patients, attendants, and staff.

In addition to medical services, the camp includes educational components such as cancer and TB prevention awareness, yoga sessions, and workshops focused on women's work-life balance. AIIMS is a major healthcare provider, accommodating approximately five lakh outpatient visits annually, positioning this camp as a significant contributor to the city's healthcare delivery.
