The Indian state, renowned for its burgeoning pharma industry, will see a new manufacturing plant and quality center established in Hyderabad.
The decision was formalized after Eli Lilly's global delegation met with Telangana's Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, highlighting the state's advantageous ecosystem of skilled manpower and infrastructure.
Emphasizing Eli Lilly's confidence in India, Executive Vice President Patrik Jonsson noted the move underscores India's strategic role in their network. As the company gears up for recruitment, new jobs will emerge in engineering, chemistry, and management, reinforcing Hyderabad's status as a pharmaceutical hub.
