A tense incident occurred on Friday morning when a patient at a Delhi hospital climbed onto a fifth-floor balcony ledge, threatening to jump, according to Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials.
Visual evidence shows the man on the ledge, causing a crowd to gather below. Attempts were made to communicate with him from a nearby window, though the reason behind his actions remains unclear.
A DFS spokesperson confirmed they received an emergency call at 8:40 am, prompting an immediate response. Despite efforts from hospital staff and bystanders, the man has not been persuaded to come down as safety measures continue to be employed at the site.
