In a critical diplomatic endeavor, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have denounced Israeli strikes on Iran, urging for an immediate cessation of hostilities in favor of diplomatic negotiations. The leaders reiterated their stance that resolving the Iranian nuclear issue militarily is not a viable solution.

According to Kremlin Aide Yury Ushakov, the dialogue between Putin and Xi was deemed 'very constructive.' Both presidents underscored the importance of maintaining regional peace and suggested comprehensive international efforts to de-escalate the current situation. Xi advocated for the UN Security Council to assume a more active role in mitigating conflict.

Beyond the Middle-Eastern discourse, the leaders evaluated the G7 Summit's aftermath, acknowledging complications within the group's dynamics. Additionally, they pledged to strengthen Sino-Russian relations, planning further discussions during upcoming international summits.
