US President Donald Trump engaged in a pivotal conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after American military forces conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, a move swiftly reported by Israeli state media.

The strikes, executed with precision, led to Israel temporarily closing its airspace as a preventive measure. According to TPS news agency, the conversation between Trump and Netanyahu underscored the collaboration between the US and Israel in addressing potential nuclear threats from Iran.

An ABC report highlighted that the attack had been rehearsed by the allied nations approximately a year prior, marking the first exercise aimed at disabling Iran's nuclear capabilities. Netanyahu referred to the operation as fulfilling his longstanding promise to dismantle Iran's nuclear capacity.

In a Hebrew video message, Netanyahu described the US operation as synchronously coordinated with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), building upon initial efforts by Israel in June. He reaffirmed his commitment to neutralizing Iran's nuclear threat, aligning with Trump's assertions of a significant military victory.

As reported by CNN, Netanyahu, along with top Israeli defense officials, convened through the night during the US assault, which targeted Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan nuclear sites, as announced in Trump's address. The US President reiterated the goal of eliminating Iran's nuclear threat and hinted at potential further action if Iran does not pursue peace.

Amidst the military maneuvers, tensions soared, with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei forewarning of severe repercussions should the US continue its military interventions.
