The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks and blockades across Balochistan province, targeting strategic routes and government venues. The group's actions highlight ongoing tensions and the systemic oppression endured by the Baloch community.
In a bold move, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch announced a significant operation on June 21, targeting the Levies station, the National Database and Registration Authority office, and the Assistant Commissioner's office in Kardgap. Allegedly, BLF fighters seized weapons, including four Kalashnikov rifles and a G3 rifle, before setting these sites ablaze.
Despite extensive anti-terror laws, the Baloch community continues to face arbitrary detentions, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial actions. Military courts and censorship further suppress the Baloch voice, perpetuating a climate of fear and impunity.
