In a striking display of unity, the Canada India Foundation, alongside The Alliance to Fight Secessionism and International Khalistani Terrorism, hosted a National Security Conference in Woodbridge, Ontario, under the banner 'United Against Extremism'.

Ritesh Malik, chairperson of the foundation, emphasized the urgency of tackling extremism within Canada, calling on policymakers to engage with the issue. Malik noted the conference aimed to preserve Canada's cultural and civic integrity by addressing current challenges posed by extremist ideologies.

Prominent voices, including former Minister Ujjal Dosanjh, cited the lack of attention from lawmakers on the issue, highlighting the intersection of extremism, drug smuggling, and immigration malpractice as significant threats. The event also marked the 40th anniversary of the Air India bombing, drawing attention to historical lessons yet learned.
