The United Arab Emirates is steadfast in its humanitarian mission, delivering aid to the Gaza Strip. On August 2, the UAE executed its 60th airdrop of relief as part of the 'Operation Birds of Goodness,' a segment of the broader 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.' This initiative is in collaboration with Jordan, France, Germany, and Italy.
These airdrops are vital for delivering relief to areas inaccessible by land. The latest operation pushes the total aid airdropped to over 3,807 tonnes, consisting of crucial food and humanitarian supplies aimed at the most impacted Palestinian regions.
Complementing this effort, 22 medical aid trucks were sent with World Health Organisation coordination to provide essential medicines and support Gaza's strained healthcare system. This ongoing commitment underscores the UAE's dedication to humanitarian aid and solidarity with nations in need.
