Ahead of India's 79th Independence Day, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar urges Indians globally to partake in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. Promoted in a recent social media post, the initiative signifies the country's unity, strength, and shared hopes.

Jaishankar emphasizes the campaign's reflection of Indian pride and enthusiasm. He encourages everyone to hoist the national flag at home and participate by sharing selfies on the campaign's website, fostering a collective patriotic spirit.

The campaign runs from August 2 to 15 alongside a government-backed cleanliness drive. Additionally, the BJP plans to launch a Tiranga Yatra across all local units to further bolster patriotism. This movement is part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' initiative, unveiled in 2021 to commemorate 75 years of India's independence.
