Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has issued a stark warning against elements within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) accused of creating division. Speaking outside Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, he acknowledged the presence of 'hypocrites' in the party and blamed them for causing internal strife, according to Geo News.

Gandapur highlighted the need for unity within PTI, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the party's mission to protect the nation and its Constitution. He attributed recent setbacks to 'false allegations and political propaganda,' which have disrupted party meetings and hindered progress, as reported by Geo News.

The minister, known for his candidness, denied any personal involvement in fostering party factions. Instead, he condemned those who remain inactive beyond social media efforts, stating, "Brief videos or phoney accounts don't lead to revolutions." Gandapur reiterated his dedication to releasing jailed PTI founder Imran Khan, asserting, "No one has made as many efforts as I have." He advocated for negotiations with authorities who wield real power.

In facing down political and legal challenges, including the custody of senior leaders like Shah Mahmood Qureshi over allegations related to the May 9 riots, Gandapur's comments underscore PTI's ongoing struggle with political obstruction. Despite setbacks, PTI continues to push for public support, resigning from parliamentary committees in a strategic move to amplify pressure, as noted by ANI.
