During the 60th United Nations Human Rights Council session in Geneva, Kashmiri activist Javed Beigh delivered a pointed rebuke to Pakistan over its alleged role in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
Beigh accused militants, supported by Pakistan, of targeting innocent tourists in an assault that shook the social fabric of the region. He detailed the attack on social media, revealing the assailants as Pakistani nationals who acted under purported religious motives.
Javed Beigh argued that this violence showcased Pakistan's animosity towards non-Muslims and the ongoing destabilization of Kashmir. He called for international acknowledgment of the impact of cross-border terrorism and emphasized the need for a genuine understanding of Kashmir's historical traditions of peace.
