The United Arab Emirates celebrated 'UAE Civil Aviation Day', underscoring its remarkable achievements in the aviation sector, which plays a key role in the global industry. Marking its seventh consecutive re-election to the ICAO Council, the UAE reaffirms its commitment to shaping international civil aviation policies.

From January to August 2025, UAE airports saw a 5.3% increase in passengers, welcoming approximately 102.9 million travelers. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum emphasized the sector's growth and Dubai's leadership role through smart infrastructure investments and world-class service delivery in its bustling airports.

Throughout the Emirates, significant focus remains on safety, sustainability, and innovation. Leaders such as Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi and Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami highlight ongoing investments and development projects across airports.
