In a serious allegation that has rocked the judicial community, a woman involved in a maintenance case in Bhadohi has accused a family court clerk of sexual misconduct. The accusations surfaced after the victim reported Siddharth Singh, a clerk at Bhadohi Family Court, for manipulating her case proceedings.
According to police, the victim, aged 27, stated that Singh illicitly accessed her contact details from court records and initiated unwelcome interactions. Circle Officer Chaman Singh Chawda disclosed that the woman filed a complaint citing obscene conversations and threats issued by Singh, which spanned over two years.
The case was registered on April 30 under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act. Authorities are probing the claims that Singh threatened to compromise her case and use defamatory content against her.
