Following the developments of 'Operation Sindoor,' Andhra Pradesh's Director General of Police, Harish Kumar Gupta, has re-evaluated the state's security status, particularly enhancing the safety measures for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
DGP Gupta, alongside intelligence chief Mahesh Chandra Laddha and senior officials, reviewed the security dynamics focusing on the protection of citizens and institutions beyond just VIP security. To this end, the DGP has mandated the strict enforcement of existing security protocols for the Chief Minister.
In a bid to maintain balance, the Chief Minister advised that while security enhancements are crucial, they should not hinder the daily activities of the general public or party workers. The security force numbers will remain the same, with an emphasis on stringent adherence to protocols.
