The metal fragments, found Thursday evening, are suspected to be missile-related, stated Mukesh Kumar, Hoshiarpur's Superintendent of Police (Investigation).
The local police, acting swiftly, notified the Indian Air Force and secured the site. Air Force officials conducted an initial examination of the debris before removing it for additional investigation, authorities reported. The object's origin and type remain unconfirmed, pending ongoing analysis.
