In the wake of serious cross-border attacks on Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah issued a stern warning to Pakistan, urging them to de-escalate the ongoing military conflict. The chief minister condemned the aerial strikes as the most severe assault on the city since the 1971 war.

He commended the armed forces for swiftly neutralizing threats and ensuring that no drones reached their intended targets. Abdullah also stressed that continued aggression would only harm Pakistan and urged them to focus on peace efforts.
