In a decisive move to fortify Tripura's workforce, Chief Minister Manik Saha disclosed that 17,554 government positions have been filled over the past seven years through a transparent appointment process, emphasizing 33% reservation for women.
Focusing on law and order, Saha's government aims to augment the police force by hiring more constables and special executives. He assured unemployed youths that efforts are ongoing to create job opportunities at the right time.
The state also reported significant victories in combating drug smuggling, with a remarkable increase in the seizure and destruction of contraband. The increased vigilance has led to a higher arrest rate of illegal foreigners along the international border.
