Swift Prosecution Sought in Sambhal Violence Case

Authorities are vigorously pursuing legal proceedings against Samajwadi Party MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq and 22 others, as a chargesheet was filed in connection with the violence near Sambhal Shahi Jama Masjid last November.
The Superintendent of Police, Krishan Kumar Vishnoi, emphasized the collection of significant evidence, including crime recreation and ballistic reports, urging an expedited trial process.
The incident, which led to four deaths and multiple injuries, has led to 12 registered cases and 92 arrests as legal proceedings advance in the Chandusi district court.
