Railway Superintendent of Police (Jhansi) Vipul Kumar Srivastava reported that while the victim had initially expressed intent to file a complaint upon reaching Bhopal, Bhopal railway police had not received any such complaint as of Friday afternoon. The situation remains under investigation, with actions dependent on CCTV evidence once a complaint is filed.
The Government Railway Police in Jhansi confirmed receiving a complaint from MLA Singh, whose account alleges indecent behavior by a co-passenger towards his family. The altercation intensified after the passenger refused to vacate a seat. Further police action is anticipated upon formal complaint submission by the other party involved.
