In a significant move towards tribal empowerment, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma reaffirmed the state government's dedication to the all-around development of Scheduled Tribes. Sharma instructed officials to ensure the swift and efficient implementation of budget announcements and welfare schemes specifically targeted at these communities.
During a meeting of the Rajasthan Scheduled Tribes Advisory Council, Sharma emphasized the critical role of public representatives in the Dharti Aaba Jan-Bhagidari Abhiyan. This initiative, celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda, aims to foster active participation in addressing tribal issues.
The chief minister directed the Tribal Area Development Department to focus on quality and timely execution of projects. Key priorities include fast-tracking Forest Rights Act claims, promptly disbursing scholarships, and enhancing central government programs to maximize benefits for tribal families.
